ABOUT

Many people admire and even revere the Bible, but they simply do not understand what they read, much less how to study Scripture. Yet they wish they could. In this insightful, engaging, and even amusing seminar, Dr. Mark Yarbrough, the sixth president of Dallas Theological Seminary and a pre-eminent expert on digging into God’s Word, shows how easy and gratifying it is to unlock the hidden truths of the Bible and how to discover a world where reading it doesn’t just satisfy our curiosity but changes our life.

FEATURING

Dr. Mark Yarbrough
President
Dallas Theological Seminary

Dr. Mark M. Yarbrough serves as the President of Dallas Theological Seminary and Professor of Bible Exposition. He assumed the Seminary’s presidency after 19 years of service at DTS, where his past roles included Vice President of Communications and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Dr. Yarbrough’s twin passions for the local church and theological education have worked in tandem for over thirty years. He frequently presents at conferences, serves on the Executive Committee of the elder board Centerpoint Church in Mesquite, TX, and has been published in various magazines and written books, including How to Read the Bible Like a Seminary Professor.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer. They are the parents of four adult children and have one son-in-law. They enjoy following the Cowboys, Mavericks, and Rangers, and keeping things full, fun, and festive while serving the Lord.
