FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We are meeting in-person and online.

When you visit a Chase Oaks Campus for the first time, you are our honored guest. We will do all we can to make sure your visit is a great one for you and your family. You might have some questions about what to expect when you visit. So, here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your trip. We hope to see you soon!

No, you do not need to register to attend weekend services.

Masks are optional at all of our in-person gatherings, including Kids and Students as well as all staff and serving teams.

  • Extensive cleaning and disinfecting procedures will take place campus-wide regularly.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the building.

There will be lots of signs and people wearing either Chase Oaks t-shirts or lanyards with nametags to help you on your way.

If you have children, follow the signs toward Kidzone, where they are sure to have a great time. Our Kidzone leaders will get you checked in and will be happy to answer any of your questions about what Kidzone is all about.

Then, follow the signs toward the Auditorium for our weekend worship service.

Services last about one hour and ten minutes. We start by singing three to four worship songs. Our worship music style is pop/rock—contemporary, upbeat, and usually quite loud. (Earplugs are available at auditorium entrances and at the Info Center). Often, along with worship songs, our bands will perform an additional song (top 40, classic rock) when the subject matter fits with the topic of the day. Then, one of our pastors will teach in a casual, conversational style for about 35-40 minutes.

To see what our weekend experiences are like, you can watch a full service live or on-demand.

Yes, Kidzone has reopened! We are excited to welcome your child (Birth-Grade 6) and make sure that have a fun and safe time. No registration needed. For more information on Kidzone, click here.

That’s a big question. We do a lot for kids. At Chase Oaks Church, we take the next generation very seriously, investing a disproportionate amount of resources in our kids and student ministries. Whether your child is very young (Birth–Kinder), in elementary, intermediate, middle school, or high school—we are certain that they will have a great time, make great friends, and learn a lot about the Bible and about God’s love for them.

Learn more by looking at the Children page and Student page. Check the Campus pages for specific meeting times for the campus you are visiting.

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Most people dress very casually at Chase Oaks (jeans and a t-shirt).

Visiting a church for the first time can be an intimidating thing. We get it. But, Chase Oaks is a “come as you are” church. We are diverse in just about every sense of the word–racial and ethnic background, life stage and lifestyle, religious background and personal doubts, addictions and struggles, and sexual identity and orientation. All of our stories are different. Each of us is on a unique journey learning more about God and His love. Whoever you are and wherever you are coming from, you are welcome here.

Peter Park

Legacy Campus Pastor

Peter Park (aka Asian Spider-Man) is a father of two beautiful daughters and a husband to one beautiful wife. With over two decades of pastoral experience and a master’s from the Talbot School of Theology, he's still always learning and discovering more about God, life, and himself. He grew up mostly in California; therefore, he is a lifelong Lakers fan. But as a new Texan, he has become a Cowboys fan. Oh, he was also the token Asian extra for Days of Our Lives for three years during college. His comfort food is good ol' spaghetti and meatballs with Texas toast and Dr. Pepper.

Join the Party!

We’re all about celebrating God. Just like hosting a party, we create environments where everyone is invited to spend time with Him and each other. We like to say “This Is Not Our Party”—it’s all about Him. Follow link to learn more about people at Chase Oaks who keep the party going.
