Planning Your Fourth of July Experience
All events are weather-dependent, with most organizers monitoring conditions throughout the day. Check event websites and social media for last-minute updates, especially during severe weather. Make sure to arrive early to stake out a comfortable spot with a good view. Most venues will have heavy traffic and limited parking, so consider ridesharing, carpooling, or taking public transportation where available.
What to bring (check event websites for specific parking information and restrictions):
- Blankets, lawn chairs, and plenty of water
- Sunscreen and hats for daytime activities
- Insect repellant
- Cash for food vendors (many do accept cards); some venues allow outside food
With a little planning, you can find something for everyone at one of these seven free Fourth of July firework displays for 2025. So gather family and friends, and make plans to celebrate Independence Day with some community pyrotechnics that will light up the summer sky.
