This ministry is committed to providing critical housing and life skills that empower women and their children to overcome homelessness, crisis, and poverty and to lead self-sustaining lives.
The mission of City House is to provide emergency shelter and transitional residential services for at-risk children and young adults who are in need due to abuse, neglect, or homelessness.
Join us as we serve the city through events like Love Where You Live, Plano Cares, Texas Recycle Day, and Great American Clean Up.
Gifts for Moms supports single moms through ongoing connection at events and through community service projects, bringing resources to the most vulnerable.
We are looking to build a team of individuals interested in serving our community through Meals on Wheels.
This team provides vocational education for adults with disabilities, pioneering the way to bringing purpose and sustainability through hands-on classes. A team will come around events and help support the HIPsters (Hugely Important People) at My Possibilities.
North Texas Food Bank supplies all of our local food banks with necessary supplies for those who have food insecurities. Join a team that will serve once a month with our new neighbors and help make a difference in the lives of many families.
This partner provides residential full-time care for the elderly or those needing full-time rehab and assistance. This team will support the residents by hosting bingo/game nights and live worship music.
Real Options provides care and support for women with unplanned pregnancies by helping them make informed choices. A team will provide support through promoting awareness, supporting the staff, and serving at events.
As the only homeless shelter in Collin County, the Samaritan Inn is a comprehensive program that provides housing, life-skills training, and self-sufficiency for homeless individuals and families. This team will have an opportunity to serve meals and eat with the residents, serve at events, provide landscaping services, host ladies’ and men’s nights, lead Bible studies, and more.
Serve on a team that comes around our local school partner, Mendenhall Elementary. The team will support staff and students through staff lunches, TASK snacks, carnival support, prayers and pencils, and more.

This team, in partnership with the City of Allen, serves residents who need assistance in lawn care or house repairs to comply with city code.
Community Garden Kitchen is the only "soup kitchen" in Collin County and serves freshly prepared meals to anyone in need, no questions asked, no paperwork required in a restaurant-style setting that provides dignity to those in need. This team serves dinner once a month on Wednesdays as a group and many of the team also volunteer in one of the numerous other areas there are to get involved each week.
Family Promise provides food, shelter, and support to Collin Country homeless families to help them regain self-sufficiency. Our team hosts families at the Sloan Creek Campus once per quarter, providing warm meals and overnight accommodations.
We serve Rountree Elementary students and teachers through a variety of activities including teacher appreciation, supporting school-hosted events, and an annual carnival for the families.
Shiloh Place supports single mothers and their children with housing, life-skills training, and basic needs assistance in a caring, Christian environment. This team serves mothers and children through a variety of projects, including hot meals during study evenings, Mothers’ Day gifts, and back to school support.

5 Loaves supplies food and other necessities to local residents in need. This Partner Team serves alongside our partner by cooking for the senior center once a month, stocking and serving at the food pantry, and leading support groups. Children are welcome to help on stocking days at the pantry.
This Partner Team works with the City of Sachse to serve disabled and elderly residents by providing lawn care and house repairs to comply with city code. This team also helps lead our community events such as Feed The City and spring outreach events.
We partner with WISD's Birmingham Elementary in teacher appreciation and events.
