The Chase Oaks Summer Internship Program will help you grow in your knowledge and understanding of church ministry while participating in the planning and execution of ministry at Chase Oaks. You will experience a fun and exciting church culture that will give you a window into a possible future in vocational ministry. This is a paid internship for 10 weeks at 20 hours per week ($14 per hour). The program will begin at the end of May.

It depends on the role. Each internship is for a specific role at one of our five campuses or at our three Local Good non-profits in the North Dallas area.

Internship opportunities become available when there is a willing, intentional mentor and meaningful, ministry-building assignments where an intern can serve and lead. This year, we have opportunities in various ministries across our locations.

Yes, this is a paid internship for 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $14 an hour.

It is a 10-week program that starts May 28, 2025 and ends on August 6, 2025.

Not much in ministry is typical, and your schedule will depend on the location and position you apply for. Aside from a weekly Intern Huddle that will help with team connection, you can expect your participation in the internship to take about 20 hours a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Your mentor will work with you to ensure the best use of your time and schedule.

Internships are open to any young adult who has graduated high school in the past two to four years and is interested in finding out more about what full time ministry is all about. The only prerequisite is a hunger to keep learning and a positive attitude!
