Experience working in ministry. Become an intern at Chase Oaks.

The Chase Oaks Summer Internship Program will help you grow in your knowledge and understanding of church ministry while participating in the planning and execution of ministry at Chase Oaks. You will experience a fun and exciting church culture that will give you a window into a possible future in vocational ministry. This is a paid internship for 10 weeks at 20 hours per week ($14 per hour). The program will begin at the end of May.

This year Summer Interns will be assigned to a Next Gen Ministry (Children or Students) at one of four campuses.

Internship opportunities become available when there is a willing, intentional mentor and meaningful, ministry-building assignments where an intern can serve and lead. This year, we have opportunities in various ministries across our locations. (Next Gen Focused)

Yes, this is a paid internship for 20 hours (15hrs?) per week. The hourly rate is $14 an hour.

It is a 10-week program that starts May 27, 2026 and ends on August 5, 2026.

Not much in ministry is typical, and your schedule will depend on the location and position you apply for. Aside from a weekly Intern Huddle that will help with team connection, you can expect your participation in the internship to take about 20 hours a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Your mentor will work with you to ensure the best use of your time and schedule.

Our Summer Internship is designed for those who are hungry to make an impact through the local church, and have interest to learn more about full-time vocational ministry. Our Interns are at least one year removed from High School Graduation, and are typically 19-22 yrs old.
