Fourth of July events and firework displays are great opportunities for you to invite your neighbors! Bring extra blankets and chairs and invite the family next door to enjoy one of the best firework displays in town. If you want to make a day out of it, look for celebrations that have special events prior to the big show!

Here are some local Fourth of July celebrations happening near you.

Plano’s All American 4th

Celebrate Independence Day with friends and family at the City of Plano’s All American 4th. The festivities will take place on Thursday, July 4, at Oak Point Park. The celebration will begin at 4:00 p.m. at Collin College where you, your family, your friends, and your neighbors can enjoy live music, a kid zone with bounce houses and rock climbing, and a food and vendor market. There will be a fantastic firework display that is synchronized with music at the end of the night. So, bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and devices to tune into 97.5 KLAK! Free parking will be available at Collin College and Plano Event Center.

Allen USA Celebration

Every year, the City of Allen hosts one of the largest Fourth of July celebrations around. On Saturday, June 29, at 4:00 p.m., Allen USA Celebration will take place at Celebration Park. There is something for the whole family, including live entertainment, challenges and competitions, a food market, a kid zone, and a car show! If you and your kids are looking to beat the summer heat this weekend, there is a splash pad at Celebration Park that will be open. Of course, the night will end with a spectacular display of fireworks!

While admission is free, some food vendors and activities may require purchases. But you can bring coolers to the event to enjoy some late-night snacks as you watch the firework display!

Fairview’s July 4th Celebration

On Thursday, July 4, enjoy some free family fun at Fairview’s July 4th Celebration, which will be held at Fairview Town Center. Decorate your kids’ bikes, wagons, and strollers to be a part of their patriotic parade. There will also be costume contests, balloon artists, face painting, and a chance to meet Wonder Woman and Captain America. The first 500 kids to arrive will receive free patriotic goodie bags! This patriotic celebration will take place from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and will begin at the Fountain.

Frisco Freedom Fest

Celebrate our freedom on Thursday, July 4, with fantastic food, great music, and amazing fireworks at Frisco Freedom Fest. The Party in the Plaza begins at 4:00 p.m. and features live entertainment, family-friendly activities at the Children’s Expo, and tasty treats with the Taste of Frisco. The fun will end with one of the largest fireworks finales in North Texas!

McKinney’s Red, White and BOOM!

Enjoy a day of hometown fun at McKinney’s Red, White and BOOM! On Thursday, July 4, there will be activities throughout the City of McKinney. The fun will start with events in its historic downtown: a parade at 10:00 a.m. and a classic car, truck, and cycle show at 1:00 p.m. There will also be a Yankee Doodle Block Party in the nearby neighborhoods between the parade and the show.

At 5:30 p.m., head over to McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch where the festivities will continue. There will be live music, food, kid-friendly activities, and a firework display that goes BOOM!

A Blast in Sachse

The City of Sachse’s annual Red, White & Blue Blast will be held on Wednesday, July 3, at Heritage Park. There will be food vendors, live entertainment, activities, and a firework display. Activities include bounce houses, water slides, carnival rides, lawn games, contests, a petting zoo, and pony rides.

At 6:00 p.m., there will be a Fourth of July parade for the family to enjoy. You can even sign up to be a part of the parade by filling out a form online at Sachse Parade Registration. Fireworks will blast off at 9:30 p.m. to end the night.

Richardson’s Family 4th Celebration

The City of Richardson will host its annual Family 4th Celebration on Thursday, July 4, at Breckinridge Park. There will be concessions, bounce houses, a climbing wall, live music, and fireworks! The family fun will begin at 6:00 p.m. You can also bring your own food and drinks to this event. This is the perfect celebration to enjoy an evening outdoors with family and friends.
