Text Box: TRAINING TIP of the week                                                                   Next weekend, we plan to introduce the new “Epoch Shuttle” which will shuttle people from 281 (the main church building) to the Epoch service (the 201 building).  This shuttle will make it easier for people to attend the Epoch service especially when:   · Their children are being checked into KidZone. · The weather is bad. · Someone has difficulity walking the distrance between our two buildings.   More details will be shared in next week’s email.

Text Box: This week, we continue our series “God-sized Questions.”  Jeff will be speaking about how Christians can be the best argument for following Christ and the best argument against following Christ.  I remember when I was in college I had a friend that professed to follow Christ but did not exactly do me any favors.  She was a bit harsh in her religious piety and rules and frankly, I had friends that wanted nothing to do with Christ if it meant becoming like her.  She really meant well, at least I think, but her zeal built far more barriers between her and others than bridges.  What type of follower are we?  Join us this week as Jeff examines what it means to follow Christ.  See you there. — Jan Sampeck

Text Box: A table will be set up in the lobby for God of the City tickets sales at the Live! and Epoch services this weekend.  Tickets are $5 each.  We can accept cash or check at the tables.  Checks need to be made to:  Chase Oaks Church.  Memo:  God of the City.  The Shop will also sell the tickets and can take a credit card as payment.  Tickets are also available for purchase online or at the event this Tuesday, May 5th.   HUGE thanks to all who volunteered and responded so quickly!  Wow!
