One of Chase Oaks’ partners, Global Aid Network (GAiN), has an opportunity for individuals, families and LifeGroups to pack food and seeds that will go directly to the Horn of Africa (including Ethiopia) to aid in the crisis of starvation in that area.  It’s simple to participate.  Click here for more information or to sign up.

Collage: Paint Along with Teta

Location: Artists’ Showplace, 15615 Coit Rd. #230, Dallas, TX 75248 (SW corner of Arapaho and Coit)
Join us for this fun evening as Teta leads us in a step-by-step painting of a European street scene in your choice of colors.  Even if you’ve never painted with acrylics before, come try this new medium—Teta will make all of us look good!  All you need to bring is a paint shirt.  (If you prefer to use your own acrylic brushes, feel free to bring them.)  We’ll provide everything else!  Questions?  Call Teta at 214.244.9449.

New Orleans Mission Trip 
Wednesday, February 29-Sunday, March 4
Chase Oaks Church has been ministering in New Orleans twice a year since the 2005 hurricane.  Join us in our construction efforts to rebuild schools and homes, refresh existing relationships, and share the Gospel message in word and deed in both the New Orleans' flood-damaged communities and in the French Quarter.  Cost is $275.00.  Click here for more information and to register.    

Purpose Party

Purpose Parties help people find their gifts/talents, help them understand why they have them and help them put them to use at Chase Oaks Church.  It is a fun environment with door prizes, an assessment that we'll discuss during the event and NEXT Guides to help people find opportunities to get involved, serve and lead.  Childcare is available, and registration is required.

The Art of Marriage

Marriage is more than a science; it’s an art.  And like any art form, it requires an investment of time, focused study, and the right tools.  If you need to soften some of the edges in your relationship, or want to brighten the landscape of your marriage, The Art of Marriage is for you!  This new marriage conference, happening on Friday night and Saturday, brings together some of the most respected pastors and experts on marriage.  Childcare is not provided, so you will need to make arrangements.

We will be having baptisms on Sunday, April 29 at 12:15 p.m. after our worship services. If you are interested in being baptized, you are required to attend a Baptism Information Session on Sunday, April 22 at 9:00 a.m. Registration is required.

Spring Break Mission Trips
Want to be a part of making a difference in someone’s life?  There is still an opportunity(depending on flight availability) to go to Guatemala this Spring Break (March 11-17).  The final price will be determined by flight prices!  Cost is around $1650.  Contact Tracy Parlin () for more information.

Summer Mission Trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica 
June 17-23
Cost: $1,500
