Chase Oaks and YMCA Partnership

Our partnership with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas started in March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit our community. It began with providing emergency childcare for essential workers and grew into providing learning assistance to families with school-aged children during the school year. Looking ahead, Chase Oaks will have an opportunity to launch new campuses from YMCA locations wherever feasible.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas and Chase Oaks Church announced today a new partnership that will benefit the YMCA’s Emergency Child Care Program. Chase Oaks is donating an initial gift of $100,000 to support the operation of this effort, which will aid those in our community who are serving on the front lines fighting COVID-19. Thanks to the ongoing support from Chase Oaks, the Emergency Child Care program will also now be available at no cost for those essential workers who need it.

YMCA’s Emergency Child Care Program will receive a $100,000 donation from Plano’s Chase Oaks Church. The child care service is for children of first responders; government officials; and those who work in essential industries, such as health care, grocery stores or logistics industries. The donation will go toward the operational costs of the six YMCAs offering this care in the Dallas area and will fund additional sites, the release said.
