PLAN YOUR VISIT
When you visit Chase Oaks Church for the first time, you are our honored guest. We do church a little differently than other places, so below are some frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit. Feel free to visit any of our campuses at any time. Or, even better, schedule your visit by following the link below. We will have someone here to meet you, answer your questions, and make sure you have a great experience.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?
When you enter any Chase Oaks campus for the first time, follow the signs toward “Guest Services.” This is your best first stop. There, someone will show you where to go to get your kids checked into Kidzone, show you where the auditorium is, where coffee and restrooms are, and answer any questions you might have.
If you need anything throughout your visit—mints, earplugs, a Bible, or a pen—feel free to stop by the Guest Services desk, or just ask anyone with a Chase Oaks lanyard or nametag. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you!
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR KIDS?
That’s a big question. We do a lot for kids. At Chase Oaks Church, we take the next generation very seriously, investing a disproportionate amount of resources in our kids and student ministries. Whether your child is very young (birth – kinder), in elementary, intermediate, middle school, or high school—we are certain that they will have a great time, make great friends, and learn a lot about the Bible and about God’s love for them.
WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE, AND HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
Services last about one hour and ten minutes. We start by singing three to four worship songs. Our worship music style is pop/rock—contemporary, upbeat, and usually quite loud. (Earplugs are available at auditorium entrances and at Guest Services). Often, along with worship songs, our bands will perform an additional song (top 40, classic rock) when the subject matter fits with the topic of the day. Then, one of our pastors will teach in a casual, conversational style for about 35-40 minutes.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Most people dress very casually at Chase Oaks (jeans and a t-shirt).
CAN I ATTEND IF I’M __________?
Visiting a church for the first time can be an intimidating thing. We get it. But, Chase Oaks is a “come as you are” church. We are diverse in just about every sense of the word–racial and ethnic background, life stage and lifestyle, religious background and personal doubts, addictions and struggles, and sexual identity and orientation. All of our stories are different. Each of us is on a unique journey learning more about God and His love. Whoever you are and wherever you are coming from, you are welcome here.
