Happy Thanksgiving! What are three things you are thankful for this holiday, big or small? As you think of the faith of next generation, what are some opportunities that you have to influence kids, teenagers, or young adults? With your own kids, extended family, neighbors, others in the community, work, church, etc.? Any specific names come to mind? When it comes to being willing to change, can you think of a time when you were willing to change… or a time when you were not? How did that go? It can be easy to lose sight of the right priorities. What are some things that you have done to help you reset or live with the right priorities in mind? What do you think of when you hear the phrase “embrace the mess”? Read Deuteronomy 11:18-21. What phrases from these verses stand out to you? How often do you openly share your faith with others? Do you find it challenging or natural to talk about your experiences with God? In what ways can we engage with the next generation, to inspire them to follow Jesus?
