All Together Now Group Guide

March 2024

1. Take turns checking in with one another: what’s a highlight and lowlight from your last week?

2. To get started, consider watching this week’s edition of “Post Script” to see Ryan give a brief recap and go deeper into the weekend message: https://www.chaseoaks.org/post-scripts

What is something that stood out to you from this episode of Post Script?

3. Chapter 3 of Nehemiah has 32 verses. Divide the verses among the people in your group and take turns reading Nehemiah 3:1-32 out loud.

What observations do you have when looking at this chapter?

4. How many individual names are mentioned in chapter 3 (not including the names of fathers or grandfathers)? How many groups of people are mentioned (for example, “his fellow priests,” “men of Jericho,” “his daughters,” etc.)? See the answers below. What does that communicate about the work of building the wall?

5. What professions are mentioned in chapter 3, and what do you think about the professions mentioned (and not mentioned)?

6. Ryan made this statement: “The most important ability in the work of the LORD is availability.” Do you agree? Why or why not?

7. Many people made repairs to the wall in front of their house. Is there a godly work that God is nudging you toward, right in your home? On your street? In your neighborhood?

8. On a scale of 1-5 (1 being “Not at All” and 5 being “Absolutely Yes”) how would you rank Chase Oaks Church as a place where you can be involved, engage, and add value? What’s the reason for your answer?

9. In light of the “Power of Everybody,” pray together and ask God to reveal possible next steps when it comes to serving, whether in your home, your neighborhood, and your church.
