Eric Davis picEric Davis, High School Pastor.
Join us in welcoming Eric!
Eric was born and raised in Indiana, which means he loves Bobby Knight, corn, and the Indianapolis Colts. He is a graduate of University of Southern Indiana and Dallas Theological Seminary, but still doesn't know how to change the oil in his own car. Eric and his wife Julie were married in 2009 and live in Plano with their dog, Toby. They enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and fall Saturdays full of college football. Online, you can find Eric on facebook.com/ewdavis1 or twitter.com/ewdavis1.

Tracy Parlin picTracy Parlin, Student Ministry Administrative Assistant
I am a southpaw who grew up in Arkansas, the Natural State.  My whole life I have made up words; as a kid my famous word was "utibu" — I don’t even remember what it means, but I loved to use it.  My most proud one (that I am confident will be in the dictionary one day) is "meldge," which is to merge and weld together. At the age of 18, I was in a situation on our senior trip where I saw for the first time, injustice, incredible poverty, and the world outside of “myself.”  It was there, where God moved me toward compassion for the vulnerable, and it changed my life forever.  I love working at Chase Oaks just for what they stand for in the community and in making a difference outside the walls of the church.  I also enjoy being a part of student ministry because nothing is more exciting than to see the light go on for a student — where they see for the first time their own value and identity in Christ, that God has a purpose just for them, and that they too can make a difference.  There is so much going on in students lives, and I am blessed to be able to be a small part of that through working  here especially when I see a new student come as they are, be transformed, and then meldge those together to go out and make a difference!
