MONTH OF APRIL: SEASON OF SERVING AT CHASE OAKS

Every spring Chase Oaks Church engages the needs of our communities through various partnerships with area non-profits, cities, and local schools. We provide a multitude of volunteers during the month of April to tackle a variety of projects for these organizations, such as helping repair code-violation homes, providing much needed yard work and landscaping, collecting food for local pantries and so much more!

At Chase Oaks Church, we take seriously the command to love our neighbors! As a result, great things happen when we all join together and lock arms to serve a specific need that can only be met when we all participate.

Everyone in our community who wants to join with us in April is invited to Make a Difference 2gether!

minnie-food-pantry-300x157In past years, we not only met those goals, but exceeded them!  Through the generosity of Chase Oakers and those in our community we collected thousands of pounds of food to donate to area food pantries like Minnie’s Food Pantry, A Christian Food Pantry, and Amazing Grace Food Pantry and hundreds of thousands of dollars to divide up and donate to partners doing great things in our commnity.  CEO of The Samaritan Inn, Rick Crocker, helped to sum up their gratitude,

When asked why the 2gether campaign has been such a success, John Stanley, External Ministries Pastor, shared:

“We really wanted to make it easy for people to participate. Maybe not everyone could give the $22, but they could give 2 hours of service, or 2 bags of food. Our goal was to provide a catalyst to help people jump in and participate in whatever ways they could, but we just wanted everyone to do something.”
